Rule 9
Duties, Duties and Powers of Registrar
(1) Under the general control and direction of the Chief Registrar, the duties, duties and powers of the Registrar shall be as under:-
(a) To file an appeal by taking a bond or bail for government malfeasance, fines and imprisonment imposed by the decision of a lower court or agency in accordance with prevailing laws,
(b) Filing of court fees and other fees required by law from the parties,
(c) To dispose of bail in a case on bail,
(d) Postponing the due date in accordance with law,
(e) To obtain letters or documents related to the case filed in the court, to cause a party to submit any document and to send letters or documents requested by other courts,
(f) To issue a time limit for appeal if no time limit for appeal is given,
(G) Issuing due date notice as per the order, canceling and re-issuing the due date notice if it is found to be late after checking,
(h) To allow a suit to be executed on the death of a party to the suit,
(i) In other cases except in cases related to contempt of court, taking heirs in accordance with law and making sure,
(j) To receive the advocacy submitted by the legal practitioner and to give the necessary information to the legal practitioner according to the prevailing law,
(k) To administer, conduct,
(l) To do other work related to the proceedings of the case,
(d) To perform such other functions as may be prescribed by order of the Bench,
(d) Disposing of petitions submitted in accordance with No. 83 of the Civil Code, Court Settlement, (n) Disposing of petitions relating to crop withholding or exemption; (p) To perform such other functions as are prescribed by the Registrar in these Regulations,
(r) To perform other duties as delegated by the Chief Registrar.
(2) The registrar may delegate any of his powers to the sub-registrar, sub-registrar, head of branch or any other officer of the court.
